Description

AloCrossgel is a lubricating ophthalmic solution formulated for the treatment of ocular discomfort due to dry eye, irritation and redness caused by environmental conditions and medications.

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid gives the product high viscoelasticity ensuring a high degree of hydration and prolonged relief from dry eye symptoms.

Aloe Vera, due to its known moisturizing, decongesting and lubricating properties, is able to impart greater wetting capacity to the solution, improving eye comfort and prolonging the feeling of freshness. Aloe Vera also has been shown to be useful in cases of reddened or particularly sensitive eyes, performing an important and long-lasting protective action.

Indications

Indicated for the treatment of ocular discomfort due to dry eye even of severe degree, irritation and redness caused by environmental or iatrogenic conditions. The product can also be administered during contact lens wear to improve lubrication and ocular comfort.

Useful during and/or after

• Prolonged exposure to sunlight;
• The stay in air-conditioned or dry environments;
• Prolonged use of video terminals;

The product can provide relief for dry eye even after eye surgery.

Modalities of use

Wash hands before opening the container and pay attention to the hygienic conditions during handling. 1. Take the strip of 5 mini-containers and isolate one of them. 2. Open the container by twisting the cap. 3. Instill 1 drop into the eye by exerting gentle pressure on the vial. Instill one or two drops into each eye once or more a day or according to the doctor’s advice.

Composition

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid 0.20 percent, aloe vera gel 0.10 percent in pH 7.2 buffered solution.

Warnings

• Do not use the product if allergic or with known hypersensitivity to any of the components;
• In the case of severe corneal diseases, consult your doctor before use;
• Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging;
• Do not use the product if the packaging is not intact;
• The product is sterile and single-dose: discard any remaining product within 24 hours after opening;
• Keep away from heat, sunlight, moisture and the reach of children;
• Do not swallow;
• In case of adverse reactions discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor;
• Take care that the tip of the container does not come into contact with the eye;
• Store the product below 25 C. Do not freeze.
