Phospholipids S80 1%, Tea Tree Oil 0.05% Bisabolol 0.1%, Xanthan Gum 1%,Vitamin A Palmitate 0.01%, EDTA disodium dihydrate, Potassium sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, N-hydroxymethylglycinate, distilled water.

BLEFActive is an ophthalmic lipogel with a soothing and cleansing action on the eyelid rim and the periocular area based on Liposomes, Tea Tree Oil, Alpha Bisabolol, Xanthan gum. And Vitamin A

Liposomes, formed by a double layer of phospholipids, are known for their soothing and emollient properties, as well as their ability to act as carriers and make the substances carried more bioavailable.

Tea Tree Oil, extracted from Melaleuca alternifolia, is known for its antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties.

Alpha Bisabolol constitutes the main component of chamomile essential oil. It possesses soothing properties, reducing skin redness and eliminating inflammation, even for particularly delicate skin. It is characterized by great skin tolerability.

Xanthan gum is a naturally derived polymer that has been shown to protect the eyelid and periocular surface from oxidative stress.

Vitamin A, known for its regulatory function, has demonstrated re-epithelializing activity, normalizing epidermal turnover and promoting the maintenance of skin integrity and function. Vitamin A also acts synergistically with liposomes in protecting cells from free radical damage and aging.

Indications

BLEFActive Ophthalmic Lipogel is indicated for the removal of desquamation debris from the eyelid surface in cases of inflammatory phenomena such as blepharitis or blepharoconjunctivitis.

BLEFActive Ophthalmic Lipogel may be useful as an adjuvant for maintaining asepsis in pre- and post-operative care.

Modalities of use

  • Wash your hands thoroughly;
  • Pour a small amount of product onto fingers;
  • Gently distribute over the eyelids and eyelid rim in circular motions;
  • Leave for a few minutes and rinse with warm water if necessary.

Warnings

  • Discontinue treatment in case of hypersensitivity.
  • Do not use beyond the expiration date indicated on the package.
  • Keep away from sources of heat, moisture, direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
  • Do not ingest.
  • Do not use if packaging is damaged.
  • If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use of the product and consult a physician.
  • Follow the eye doctor’s instructions carefully.
  • Nonsterile product.
