OFTASECUR eye drops
OFTASECUR is a lubricating, protective, moisturizing and soothing ophthalmic solution based on Hypromellose, Liposomes and Biosecur®. Due to its formulation, it is useful in the treatment of ocular dryness, including in the presence of irritation, and promotes reparative processes after surgical or traumatic stress.
Description
OFTASECUR is a lubricating, protective, moisturising and soothing ophthalmic solution based on Hypromellose, Liposomes and Biosecur®.
OFTASECUR, thanks to its formulation, is useful in the treatment of dry eyes, even in the presence of irritation, and promotes reparative processes after surgical or traumatic stress.
The presence of Hypromellose, a cellulose derivative with viscoelastic and hygroscopic properties, helps to keep the eye more hydrated.
OFTASECUR contains Biosecur®, a biological citrus fruit extract derivative consisting of bioflavonoids and polyphenols with proven antimicrobial activity Its action, typical of Biosecur® extracts, controls the bacterial load and the risk of possible infectious processes. Thanks to this feature, OFTASECUR is a self-preserved solution. The presence of liposomes favours stabilisation of the lipid phase of the tear film, reducing evaporation of the underlying aqueous state. In addition, Biosecur® is incorporated within liposomes and made more bioavailable and tolerated. Thanks to its formulation, it helps prevent and control eye infections and provides relief in case of irritation.
OFTASECUR is well tolerated even for prolonged treatment, and is not toxic, irritating or allergenic.
Field of application
Corneal lubrication and protection before and after eye surgery, in the case of eye trauma or in the case of ocular surface changes due to tear film instability and in patients with frequent eye infections.
Modalities of use
Instill 1- 2 drops 3-4 times daily or as directed by the specialist.
Composition
Phospholipids, Biosecur®, Hypromellose, Boric acid, Sodium tetraborate decahydrate, Sodium chloride, Distilled water. Contains no preservatives.
Warnings
Do not use the product if allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components
- In case of adverse reactions discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor
- Use the product within 60 days of first opening
- Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging
- Do not use the product if the vial is damaged
- For ophthalmic use only
- Do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the bottle
- Close the bottle tightly after use
- When applying several products leave an interval of at least 10 minutes – Store in a cool, dry place.
- Not tested in contact lens wearers.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
