Description
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid, Trehalose, and Stearylamine in Liposome ophthalmic solution.
TriMIX is a protective, moisturizing and lubricating ophthalmic solution based on cross-linked sodium salt Hyaluronic Acid, Trehalose, Stearylamine and Liposomes, formulated to restore the physiological properties of the ocular surface. The combination of cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid and Trehalose gives the product a high viscoelasticity, ensuring a high degree of hydration and permanence on the ocular surface, such that the symptoms associated with dry eye and the resulting ocular irritation are alleviated. Trehalose has stabilizing and protective properties of cell membranes, preventing protein denaturation and lipid degradation helping to reduce inflammatory phenomena. Liposomes are known for their soothing and emollient properties, as well as their ability to act as a carrier, increasing the bioavailability of the substances they carry and to stabilize the lipid of the tear film. Stearylamine carried by liposomes due to its positive charge, allows for better adhesiveness on the epithelial surface and helps inhibit microbial growth. The combination of the above properties makes TriMIX an effective ocular surface protector with antioxidant effects that can also promote the repair of ocular tissues injured surgically or as a result of mechanical or chemical trauma or environmental insults.
Field of use
Treatment of tear film and ocular surface changes typical of dry eye caused by environmental or iatrogenic factors:
- eye surgeries
- prolonged use of digital screens
- stay in air-conditioned or dry environments
- prolonged exposure to sunlight
The product can also be administered while wearing contact lenses.
Modalities of use
Instill 1-2 drops into each eye 2-3 times daily or as advised by your doctor.
Warnings
- Do not use the product if allergic or with known hypersensitivity to any of the components
- In case of adverse reactions discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor
- The product is sterile, discard any remaining product within 24 hours after opening the mini-container
- Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging
- Do not use the product if the container is damaged
- For external ophthalmic use only
- Do not touch eyes, surrounding areas or other surfaces with the tip of the container
- When instilling several products leave an interval of at least 10 minutes between applications
- Store the product at a temperature below 25 C and above 2 C
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Composition
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid sodium salt, Trehalose, Stearylamine, Liposomes (phospholipids) in buffered aqueous solution at physiological pH.
